Actually if you are wearing a mask and social distanced and don’t have symptoms you don’t need to quarantine according to the latest CDC rules.

Yep, we were told to “trust the CDC and science” until the science was no longer taking an extremist position. Saw somewhere that of the 26 some odd thousand kids who have tested positive since universities brought kids back on campus, none have been hospitalized

Isn't this the same test that they claim gave false results?

& did you not see the national outrage of a Ga. hs based off the pic showing few masks & students all packed just to get through the hallway?

I'm just going off the info that the latest "rapid tests" kept giving false results (like you would test positive & then negative within the short timeframe they redid them during the same visit).

I wasn't going off the inability to fund them. I was asking due to their accuracy (or lack thereof).

& yet they've had cases of previously infected people getting it again. So who knows what's the correct answer?

They’ve had exactly one documented case of that in the entire world and it was likely just poor timing

These tests certainly aren't lauded for their infallibility. Ton of false positives. Additionally, these tests are also picking up dead virus, and folks are still testing positive for sometimes months after the virus has run its course and is no longer contagious. Happened to a few PGA Tour golfers. They were still popping for weeks after being quarantined for 14 days. The tour still let them play because they understood this.

Sankey has to do away with the contact tracing garbage. If guys are negative, they play. Otherwise there’s no hope for a real season.

Since WHEN have they made rapid testing available to the public & not just the potus?

We've had the rapid test available in New Orleans since at least June. Results in roughly 15 minutes.

Not based on what I've read in the one they gave the the government money for the go ahead in late August. Based on what I've read this new one has had 97-98% effective rates in testing.

My daughter is a Oncology Nurse Practitioner and she told my wife and me the rapid tests back in June-July and part of Aug they were using weren't reliable at all.
