He just did what ESPN told him to do and they need a way to get rid of the LHN albatross losing them money. Surprised OU did it but apparently it was also for money. Still not sure what Texas is thinking, guess 10 years of being an afterthought and a train wreck made them go crazy bc all their fans did prior to last year was mock the SEC.

Dividing the SEC when TX and OU come in will be easy in fball.
SECE: UGA, Tenn, Fla, Carolina, UK, Vandy, Bama, and AU. (That preserves the rivalries that are so damn sacrosanct.)
SECW: Texass, Okla, Aggies, LSU, Mizzou, Arkie, State, and OMiss.
All this talk about pods is absurd and problematic. Keep two divisions, preserve old rivalries, and facilitate the SECCG easily. The only question is, 8 games or 9?

& what are you going to do about the people complaining on it taking forever to see rematches...like they currently do @ 14 teams?

It’s basically going to feel like two conferences going forward. That meet for a bowl game prior to the playoffs.

It appears things are headed towards fewer & bigger conferences.
Some argue for smaller conferences, but don't accept the catch of smaller groups creating MORE conferences.

Frick you and your team for going to overtime
Damn that’s a funny first response

I think of all the formats, that's probably what everybody agrees on.
However, it's strange the SEC going to 9 games, but B10 dropping to 8 (after griping the SEC plays 8).

ATMs path to “success” was a $30,000,000 slush fund.
