Slowly changing though, we’ve knocked a lot of shite down and started building much more modern and more attractive (compared to the Soviet style) buildings

Notice how they seemed to start with all the buildings on the perimeter of the campus first.

Anyone with (lol) Tuscaloosa, AL in their top 10 probably has lived in a trailer park for a good period of time.

I haven’t seen all of them, but Oxford/OM is underrated.

Nashville is fun to visit but not someplace most folks really want to live. It’s like a halfway house for Californians.

Athens loses its appeal pretty quick. The average UGA fan aspires to be a functional retard and the infrastructure around Athens makes no sense

Austin is gayer that the Florida keys. A literal liberal shithole.

Fayetteville is ok, nothing special

Knoxville is not what it was. The surrounding area makes up for it but east Knoxville is a 3rd world shithole

Oxford NA

Auburn is a straight up college town and functions as such.

Gainesville could really benefit from significantly fewer gator fans and a good cleaning

College Station NA

Lexington is pretty but nothing special

Red Stick is not much fun to an over 40 married white guy

Tuscaloosa is hard to judge due to too many Bama fans. They really need some chlorine in that gene pool by the way. Seen a group of Bama fans you’ve seen them all.

Norman just didn’t feel like a college town. But I’ve never been on a game day or stayed more than a couple hours.

Columbia SC is not a college town. It’s a giant ghetto with a zoo that embarrasses other zoos.

Starkville felt like a college village more than a town. I feel like I would get directions that involve turning at the old Winn Dixie and going too far if I passed the Jackson place

Columbia mizzou seems like a proof of concept gone wrong on what a college town in post apocalyptic middle America would look like. A college town with a ghetto surrounded by people that didn’t go to college but hate section 8 housing.

Curious, where would you put Knoxville? I'd say 5th-ish.

I would say 6th. Portions of downtown are teetering on becoming Baton Rouge lite. Huge influx of homelessness and East Knoxville is becoming more and more like a third world ghetto every day. The main downtown area has improved drastically over the past 10-15 years and the Smokies new downtown stadium should help a lot as well. If you avoid just a couple zip codes it is an excellent place to live but the presence of East Knoxville knocks it down several pegs for me. Many of the areas immediately surrounding Knoxville are pretty similar to NWA.
