coaching

And all of y'all seem to think that coaching is just "X's and O's", when it ain't. It's everything. What separates anyone who reaches the top of their profession from those on the lower rings is the dictation to all areas of their craft, and the excellence to which they aspire.

Those who are too lazy, or not as skilled always want to socialize the process. Let the "have nots" get a free ride.

frick. That. shite.

Be better.

Yeah sure, we’ll “be better” by moving our school to one of the most talent rich areas in the country. If only we tried harder we’d get 15 5 stars on a single roster

gtfo, the leaders at your school aren’t somehow smarter than everyone else

You think Nebraska was a recruiting hotbed in the 70s-90s? Do you think that Tennessee built it's teams off of in-state kids?

I could go on and on, but even Alabama isn't at the top of the list of high school talent states.

frick that. You want to be the best, work at it. Excuses are lost opportunities.

Maybe the leaders at "our schools" aren't smarter (or maybe they are?), but they damn sure work harder.

Demand excellence.

I sat and watched, for 15 years, as Mark Richt yawned his way to Top 10 recruiting classes (which were 5th best in the SEC) that consistently underperformed in all facets of the game.

He wore his Christianity on his sleeve, caliming he was a "builder of men", all the while more kids were arrested at UGA during his tenure than any other UGA coach.

The mother fricker conned his way to bigger contracts, without ever earning them with his work ethic. Now UGA knows what work ethic is. Still no hardware to show for it, outside of SEC Championship, but UGA is now on a better trajectory than at any point during its history.

Kirby came in and has worked at every facet of his profession, falling short in some, excelling in others. But, he keeps working.

That's earning a paycheck. Do that, results will come.

You got Sam Pittman. Watch...
