No reason for this game to stay stagnant in on place for so long.

Game should rotate between New Orleans and Atlanta at least, and probably an additional two sites.

As it is, the game is a de facto home field for Georgia and the Bama schools when only one makes it.

Where would you like the game to be played? The Edward Jones Dome will be demolished (due to the Rams moving back to their rightful home in LA) in a few years, so scratch St. Louis off the list. M I Z

A dome in Atlanta just makes too much sense... no where else in the SEC footprint as one (unless you count Houston or STL)... Atlanta has one of the largest airports in the world.... relatively centrally located for fans/teams... there's also a history that's developing there, that'll be even stronger come 2027.

If nashville builds a world class done... Then maybe.

Eta: forgot the super dome.

Its silly that this is the case. Game should rotate.

Steve Shaw (Bama graduate) to remain head of SEC refs until 2027.

Well you are wrong but that not surprising for an UGA fan. Pretty low level of intellect as a whole here.

Its not surprising that the most vocal about the game staying put are always UGA/barners and gumps. Shocking stuff.

Sugar Bowl Committee will not allow New Orleans to host the SEC Championship game.

ATL is perfect. It should always be played there.

The cost of traveling to Atlanta and attending a game is far less than smaller cities. Atlanta has the most hotel rooms in the SEC, most flight options and tons of places to eat and drink and has mild weather in December. Not to mention the brand new state of the art stadium and college football hall of fame.

There literally is no reason to have it anywhere else other than fans on the fringes of the region who dont like to have to travel so far.

The dome is not getting destroyed regardless of the outcome for the Rams in St Louis. If the new stadium gets built its staying for conventions and other sporting events. If the Rams move its staying as well.

You're an idiot...but you already knew that and so did we.

That's not a reason... I'm genuinely interested in why other locations should be considered. Atlanta has a huge airport, will have a brand new world class facility, and is centrally located within the sec footprint... it's also less of a shithole than Nola, STL, or Houston.

Keep the Dome open for Monster Truck rallies and Motocross events. Makes sense.
