I think they lack a guy who can just get a bucket. Primo will probably develop into that kind of guy, but I don’t think it happens this year. Shack and Petty can light it up from deep though, so they’re gonna wreck some teams if those two get hot at the same time. Start three great rebounders too. But they lack post depth in a big way as well. Could finish anywhere from 8th to 3rd IMO.

This Alabama team looks very similar to last year’s. Still not really a fan of Quinerly in Oats’ system. Strange fit. They are better than they look tonight but there are some warning signs about this team’s ceiling imo.

Bama certainly doesn’t look great but IMO this Stanford team is very very good.

They have been really impressive. The Williams kid is fantastic.

They will go as far as Ziaire takes them. This core they have back from last year was pretty flawed. Extremely turnover prone and not a good rebounding team at all. I don’t see them being favored to get out of the first weekend unless ZW turns in to an AA.

This game is more about Bama than Stanford imo. Horrible showing but I think Bama is quite a bit better than this.

I think we're seeing some major holes - starting with the fact that without a quick burst PG to break down the top level of the defense and get the offensive motion started that we can really, really bog down.

Petty grow his hair out? Is that what I'm seeing?

Finally saw a close up. That's some bullshite. He had the best hair in the SEC.

As Cobra said on our board

Auburn will be a much better team by February but their roster make up is so strange

We are loaded with athletes but not many skilled shooters. One of the few we have is being forced to play PG because of the Cooper situation. If we could get him back, let Powell move back to the 2, and then just get experience along the season then they should be a tough team by the end of the season/next year.

Unfortunately most people don’t seem to be hopeful we will see Cooper in an AU uni.
