If SC suddenly won 4 or 5 titles you would probably be looked at Like Florida which is one of the elites in CFB. Last I checked they didnt do jack before the 90's. Sounds familiar.

No clue what will happen, but if SCar loses both series to Ark and LSU but is not swept in either, they're at 16-11 in second play not including a tough series with UGA to play in between.
As I said a while back, still a lot of ball to play in determining who the national seeds are. A lot of marquee series left...

So what you're saying is LSU in baseball and UF and football have proved that all the "blue blood teams of sports" and especially their fans can shut the hell up about "it can never happen at SC because it has never happened before"??

I really like our chances in this series to win 2 against UK. Mainly because it is at home and we are REALLY, REALLY good at home this season. We could eaily be 10-2 in SEC home games if not for 2 extra inning losses. I feel we can win on Friday and find a way to win the third game like we did against Ole Miss.

If you think last year's LSU season was meaningless you are dumber than a box of rocks. the players that played so spectacularly and won a SEC championship for their fans deserve better! Sad that a SC fan has to point that out. Send out an email to let the players from 112 out 115 of LSU football that their efforts were meaningless should go over well!
Once again I won't ever say anything bad about LSU baseball its the modern day Goliath. An LSU fan saying SC baseball wasnt relevant before LSU won its 5th title is just stupid. Sometimes message boards should require an IQ test to post.

Kc4usc why dont you STFU about something you have no idea about and probably never will in your lifetime. Of course I was thrilled with winning our 11th SEC championship.It was a great ride for sure. But when your LSU and you make it that far you expect to win the game. I sure as hell hope our players felt like dogshit after we came so far to get pounded like that. I know what you mean it was a great season but losers pat themselves on the back for finishing second place.
Now I understand exactly how the mentality of South Carolina fans and why they will always except mediocrity in football. Why don't you ask Vince Limbardi how he felt about losing. I am sure he would have patted his players on the back and given them a lollipop after losin the Super Bowl.

Maybe not all of you, but a good bit of you on this message board seem pretty content with medicority and above average every blue moon. Thats not necessarily a slight per say. The fact that ya'll sold the stadium out through all those terrible years is a testament to your loyalty that maybe nobody in the country has. Its just gonna take a breakthrough season for the mentality to change.

Hint: Hit the post reply button once. SC fans don't accept mediocrity kinda the reason we have been firing football coaches every 5-6 years for 100 years. SC just hasn't been very good that reality.
