How the hell is OU ranked 12th today in baseball America?

20-10 and 11th in sec with a 5-7 record. A&M 16th at 24-8 and a better SOS

And their pitching has 74 walks and only a 1.56 K strikeout-to-walk ratio...

#1 in pitching vs #1 in hitting coming up

Fun
Wouldn't surprise me if neither was number 1 in their respective categories after this weekend. Weather may screw up the schedule a bit, but we shall see. Nothing dire, but the timing on Friday could be an issue. Since it's on linear TV, they will try very hard to stick with a 7 p.m. first pitch.

A&M may have the number one offense this week, but I still think UGA has the most consistent offense in the SEC. I also think they are the best overall team.

I believe A&M's ERA is wrong...should be over 10.
We have only 1 frontline pitcher atm and he goes on Sunday.

Based on the number of wild pitches and walks compared to runs given up, I'm starting to think that Tennessee's pitching rotation spent most of practice pitching batting practice.

I haven't seen enough of the league to say that, yet. They do have a damn good lineup, but I'd be a little bit worried about their pitching situation. Of course, just about everyone is worried about pitching depth this year.

It's going to get worse
I looked up the last 3 years of final conference pitching era stats.

Number of teams finishing with an era of 5.00 or less in conference play..
2025 - 3
2024 - 4
2023 - 4

Appreciate your effort to post the stats, don't want to add to your work, but if you don't ask, you don't get.....
So here's my ask,
Could you add a column on pitching that shows
K/BB ratio? I understand if you tell me to shove off.

LSU had 9 homers in 9 SEC games before playing at the softball field in Knoxville.
