The fact is is that Burrow is in between what LSU fans and non-LSU fans say. He is overrated by LSU fans and underrated others. All y’all do is point at completion percentage without obviously watching the little things that he does very well. Is he the 4th QB in the conference right now? Not quite yet, but he is not a bad QB by any stretch.

Chad Pennington is second in the NFL in all time completion percentage. John Elway is 92nd. No doubt Burrow has to get more in sync with his receivers as the season goes on, but I don’t think it tells the whole story.

Burrow's numbers are deflated by the style of offense. I don't know or care if he's top 5 but he's meaningfully better than just taking <50% on the surface. Definitely wouldn't say he's mediocre.
