You gotta love it. The OP congrats bama on their win and says they deserved the win, but he brings up Scott trucking their star defensive player and some gumps immediately go into panic mode.

I remember this play. This can't be the one. In this play McClain knocked Scott out of bounds. Scott didn't come close to "trucking" McClain on this play, but rather McClain hit him at full speed and Scott just kinda took it. Just as impressive as if he had trucked him IMO.

No actually Scott lowered his left shoulder and trucked McClain. Apparently, it was the 3rdQ with 11:29 left.

I just watched it. It is a legitimate trucking inspite of what the Bama fans in this thread are saying.
McClain is not off balance, Scott lowers his shoulder and McClain goes straight down to the ground while Scott easily maintains his balance.
To McClain's credit, Scott does get forced out of bounds. But, if that didn't happen, Scott literally would have kept running while McClain picked himself off the ground.

that being said, if scott doesnt fracture a collarbone, we already had the run game established...he would have rushed for 100+ that game, plus we had a pass game...up until jefferson went out. then came the fluke TD from JJ the one of few plays PP went out due to cramps. it's hard to overcome injuries like that...try to prove me otherwise. if mcelroy, ingram, and your star corner go out it's a different ball game.

then perhaps you should have said "you're implying a lot of 'if's' there"...you said you counted them. can't count something if it isnt there. either way this is a stupid fricking argument. and of course you're just going to sit there and argue about speaking figuratively and literally (which, if i remember from junior high correctly have no correlation to 9th grade english) because you know what i said is true.
