Harsin is done.

So is Frost at Nebraska. But frost did much better than Gus is doing at UCF and beat Gus head to head so you can say he’d be an upgrade from Gus.

Definitely better than Harsin, who Gus was even better than.

Frost is available and could be an option for the barn which is a much less attractive job than most Barners can admit.

A few Young Auburn fans. We have never hired a big name. Pat Dye (Wyoming, but coached at Bama for over a decade), Bowden from Samford, Tuberville (Ole Miss), Mr 5-19, Chiz (Iowa Stare), Gus (Arkie State) and of course Harsin (Boise).

Per sport radio...

Nebraska asst coaches approached AD regarding Frost being late to practice and meetings and cutting practices short.

Wanted to be Head Coach and make the $$$, didn't want to spend the time coaching.

I'd be surprised if he got another HC job any time soon.

No to Harsin
No to Frost

Deep pockets gonna get who HE wants.

LINK

If he makes it to the LSU game, a loss to LSU likely will cause things to get really ugly.

Frost is a huge upgrade over Hairsin.

Nebraska is a black hole of a program. Nobody is restoring them to their glory years and if some coach is able to get them competitive again, it won't be enough for their fan base and they'll get run off, like Pelini.

No doubt about that. But Meyer departed SEC apparently so he would not have to compete with Saban, remember? Rumor is he wants a Freeze, not just a Frost.

Freeze in the plains would be interesting

It’ll either work out great for Auburn or be an absolute train wreck

While this correct, he didn’t get fired for not restoring their glory years. He got fired for being objectively awful.

Why is Harsin done?

Because he lost to Penn State?

Not if he sits on his thumbs til all the quality coaches are gone. We will end up with a "take whose left and looks good on paper", aka Harsin 2.0.

he didn’t lose to Penn state

He got absolutely humiliated

At home at that

Penn state is a bad team too, you’ll see

With the off season drama and the bad fit, that is the beginning of his ending

Penn State is better than Auburn?

They were favored in the game?

They are a better program than Auburn?

What am I missing?

the score board

The fact that Auburn put up 12 points against a manny Diaz defense at home?

Alot

He has had a year and Auburn has not improved in any aspect of the game. In fact, they have declined in more areas than they've even stayed the same.

Penn state is better than Auburn.

They were favored in the game.

You can’t just can a coach at Auburn because he can’t beat Penn State.

That’s absurd.
