Black is horrible unless it is part of your traditional colors. I hate every time that State wears black in any sport. They are so uggghhh.
I am fine with an occasional (rare) special uniform or throwback uniform but no more than once a year in football and maybe a couple of times a year in the other sports. But they should never be black. Period.
Plus with rare exceptions we seem to stink up the joint when we wear black.
State is maroon & white (which was selected by students in the 1890’s) and we need to stick to those colors.

YUP, BB team did it in 2005 and 2013 both times vs. Duke.

The Texas Longhorns football team has not worn black uniforms under Athletic Director Chris Del Conte, who has explicitly stated that the program will stick to its traditional burnt orange and white color scheme. During a 2023 virtual town hall, Del Conte said, “As long as I’m working for you… there’s two colors: burnt orange and white,” and dismissed the idea of alternate uniforms, including black ones.

Hate it, looks wrong seeing tenner nc state Oregon etc with it. Looks normal for the purdues texas techs and mizzou of the world tho

Even though red and white were the first official colors, black is now an official color of NC Stare and has been for years. It is known as Wolfpack black.
