Aggie has made some dumb coaching moves in the past, this one was a smart one

Does it rob you of any joy that we ended up so good out of the deal? People thought this would kill our program, but we're going to have an objectively more talented team next year.

And it occurred less than 24 hours after they had just played in the single biggest sporting event in school history

Nope! That joy can't be robbed during the offseason.

But seriously, I think 4 left from Zona to Lsu.

3

Believe it was 3 and that's kind of my point.

LSU brought Jay and an assistant, Arizona hired an outsider, LSU has a lot more resources, and still only 3 players came.

Two were pitchers and LSU's pitching was zapped so they had a reasonable chance at playing time.

So a&m should be a guarantee to win it all next year, right? I mean… if they’re verifiably better off like y’all say

No pressure!

That isn't how baseball works, but I'll take one of the most talented teams each year and let the chips fall where they may.

So it’s true they made him pay the buyout or part of it, he must have really hated Aggieland.

You ever been to College Station?

Why would he agree to that, if Texas wanted him they should pay the buyout, not him

But if he wanted to go to Texas, he paid the buyout
