I'm not saying Auburn is going to get killed, but the everyone also stopped paying attention to the Reggie Bush situation for years.

As a LSU fan I'm more concerned about the agents/handlers associating themselves with high school and junior college football players... than I am with the self reported violation LSU did over the last year

Because it's penny ante poker in a relative sense. If other teams are throwing tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars at a recruit while LSU self reports a case of getting cheap housing

I wish the NCAA would ban the use of third parties to market or place kids with eligibility remaining. They end up being nothing more than agents and potential bag men

I know, it is fun looking into a mirror and only seeing the other teams faults is what keeps this board alive.

You can't believe this. The Cam Newton situation was too public and too important to be forgotten by even casual fans (since it affected the SEC and National Championship results)

you're either dense or sarcastic

Exaggerated attention remains on Cam and Auburn... all Cam has to do is say something about being an icon and all of a sudden its the news of the day

maybe in BR. Here in Atl. there is no news on tv, radio, print. I watch ESPN every night and have seen nothing.

Just depends what you mean by cheating. Pay for play? I disagree. Bending some recruiting rules that would be considered secondary violations? I would agree. Not all major programs use pay for play.

I've taken the wait and see approach on AU. It has made reading this board a lot easier.

Nice...three links about a player not in school and not on our team. What does that ahve to do with the PROGRAM?

I was refuting your assertion that cam and/or auburn were not news of national interest

As those links demonstrate.... there remains disproportionate national news interest in him
