We(meaning our two schools) are going to have dueling elite undefeated qb's in the playoffs this year aren't we? Should be the game of the year.

I don't see them meeting this year...odds are against it.

No they aren't, according to espn Clemson and Bama both have over 70 percent chance of making the playoffs, Clemson's odds are slightly better because of less competition(this show before Saturday, so these odds have only increased since). Overwhelming odds that both teams reach the playoffs, and since they are clearly the two best teams in country, I think both will be favored in their semis and will meet in the finals.

does Bama still get in if they lose to Auburn or UGA?

I think the commitee doesn't want to take two teams from the same conference if they can avoid it.

If Clemson were to lose 1 to Duke, SC or Pitt/UVA, it might not get in.

Dude nobody is beating either Clemson or Bama before the playoffs, but if you want to play this game, then it depends on if Notre dame wins out. If ND wins out they take the 4th spot then only SEC Champ will be in from the SEC. Bama could lose to Auburn and beat UGA and still get in. But if Bama loses to UGA, then ND has to lose for Bama to sneak in at number 4 again.

What if Washington State only has one loss and PAC 12 champ, and WV or Oklahoma is 1 loss and Big 12 champ.

Alabama would get in for 2nd year in a row over conference champs.

i'm glad i'm not on the committee lol

I would change playoffs to 6 teams and top 2 teams get bye in first round.

Well I used Notre Dame as an example, but I didn't mean to imply that it doesn't depend on others teams too. My point was Bama needs to beat UGA in Atlanta, but could lose to Auburn as long as they don't get blown out. There is still a chance if they lose a close one to UGA but the teams you listed must lose also. Anyway I think round 4 in the playoffs is very likely, though anybody can lose, Bama and Clemson really are on a different level because both have elite offenses and defenses. Just on a different level than everybody else, even ND and Michigan.

And they're both obsessed with the Gamecocks. All of them are. Nevermind that they're undefeated and basically a lock for the playoffs..they'd rather stalk Gamecocks on social media and YouTube.

If we were undefeated I'd be rubbing may balls Alabama style all over Clemson.
