Totally agree with this. That’s why it was embarrassing for some media guide guy to go back and start saying, “yea, we won thst one too. “. Granted he did that without knowing the ride that nick Saban took them on.
It would all be better had atcheson just held off on the claims. Too late now. Now there are articles about it in print laughing at the idea.
Remember, if everyone does it this way, there would be about 300 claims to a title in only 150 years.

This made me think a little about who LSU's actual rivals are.
Bama- every LSU fan hates bama, but we need to win a few games to make it a true rivalry
A&M- They think we are rivals, but have only managed one win over us since joining the sec, see my above explanation about bama and reverse it.
Ole miss- There's some rivalry there, but it doesn't top the list.
Florida- frick dem. SEC east rivals for life.
Bama- every LSU fan hates bama, but we need to win a few games to make it a true rivalry
