My best CFB buddy back in the day was a Nole. We taught in the same liberal arts department, so in the fall we were often on the road at one academic conference after another. Rather than spend our Saturdays discussing the existential crises among revisionist beatnik poets, we'd sneak off to a sports bar and spend the day doing something worthwhile — CFB and Heineken.
