I dont want it to be 110 degrees. The 40-60 degree weather can stay until June if it wants.

I like 60s-70s. Don’t get me wrong, I hate summer heat. But baseball in 30-50 degree weather? Nah

They play baseball year-round anyways. So, it ain't nothing to the players as much nowadays.

Oh I know. I’m more of speaking from a fan standpoint. I wouldn’t like sitting out there watching a 9 inning game in it

What's the weather over in Arkansas right now? It's in the 80s in Austin.

Why do they keep doing that?

In general? I don’t fricking know but right now we don’t seem to have anything close to a quality Friday night SEC arm let alone an ace of any kind. Just a bunch of good bullpen arms. Kolten Smith and Charlie Goldstein are each still trying to stretch out after injury and return to their late season form from last year when they were excellent. Finley has good stuff but still can’t seem to be dominant beyond 3 innings.

Today, we’re playing guys out of normal position which has led to 2 errors at second and third and the wind has aided two extra base hits, all of which resulted in runs scoring.

We should be ranked in the 8-15 range, certainly not top 5

Alford gets a hit and Phelps walks before Obee drives them both in on a single and throwing error

6-2 Columbia in the 4th

Zaborowski nukes a 3 run blast after back to back 2 out singles

6-5 Columbia in the 4th

I swear to god, this is just who we are. We HAVE TO BE down by at least 3 runs before we can start playing ball. It’s infuriating and dumbfounding but it’s our process.

You can definitely mash.. Phelps is a stud

I’ve always wondered if a team could pull off all relievers throwing 1-3 innings per game. Pitch 1-3 times per weekend, never facing the same batters.

I like the idea, but goes against the traditional way of doing things.

That’s kind of what we did all year last year. We didn’t really have any established starters when Wes got here so we pretty much just played all staff games until Kolten Smith, Charlie Goldstein, and Leighton Finley emerged in the second half of the year (Holdstein ended up blowing out his elbow in Regionals)

Seems like we may end up doing that again this season

Grand slam Zaborowski

His 4th HR and 14th RBI of the weekend. It’s only Saturday.

12-6 Dawgs who insist on being made to bleed their own blood
