Absolutely jobbed because umps can’t make a call on the field. Make a call. Any call.

I think he tipped the ball to himself and caught it, which would mean the runner left early

jeez. Gonzalez hits an absolute piss missile right at the 2nd baseman. Runner would have likely scored from 2nd there.

This. Run doesn't count if the inning ends on force outs.

I think I need to see the play because I can’t imagine I’m getting the right picture of it in my head right now

I’m confused too. Looks like they did credit the run, so Vandy up 5-4.

run does count
was indeed a force at 3rd
was indeed a force at 3rd

Yeah. The run counting makes no sense.

Admittedly I'm no rules expert but I've never heard of a run counting with an inning-ending force out.

Will have to hit at least 2 more of those since our pitching is dogshit and walks a batter per inning minimum
Posted on 4/15/23 at 4:09 pm to Vandyrone
Never seen anything like that.

What a stupid fricking rule

I think they threw to second and then third.

MSU coach just said the crowd is a sausage fest.

I could be wrong but i think the force at 3rd was the 2nd out and the 3rd out was on the base runners mix up at 1st base
so run does count.
so run does count.

Would make sense. Two runners cross each other on the base path would have been an out. I don't think that counts a force out.
