Quinn Ewers is a solid QB. He definitely starts and finishes out this season.

Next season Archie Manning starts.
He's in his 70's now, but our S&C program can probably get him up to speed if they start working on it right away.

Be honest

You said the same about Applewhite not being as good as Chrissy. Didn't you?

It looks like you'd learn.

Not you Mt.V, to all in general...
Nobody has mentioned that the loss of #1&2 running backs was also the loss of the 2 best blocking backs. Sarkisian offense relies on blocking incoming before release. Not getting that this and QBs and play calling have suffered.

When Ewers is in the game, it's practically 10 on 11. The defense knows this.

Ewers is still starting with almost zero mobility and a dead arm.

Just say you haven't watched a Texas game in the last few weeks

He's better than JJ Mcarthy and Stetson Bennett...

Texas is inarguably led by defense. Sometimes even Ewers gives up more points than they do.

The only issue is the ones Texas fans have tried to make of the deal the coach has started Ewers every week he was healthy and some that he wasn’t lol…..

For as much talent as Texas has you guys h e really layed a bunch of eggs offensively this season and it’s not a qb issue ….. could be your Lincoln Riley head coach …

That's a legit take on UTa's situation and it's good football discussion. There's an old football saying when it comes to stuff like this. "Dance with the one what brung ya." He can't bench Ewers, he's gotta start him. But if he kept him on a short leash, that would be another story. Spurrier was famous for doing that with his QBs.

That quote is from the best coach in our programs history. Sark is certainly following that advice. I’ve seen enough and would rather try Arch out as the starter, but it sounds like the team is fully behind Ewers.
