The fan revival in Georgia has to do with Smart, but not because of his rah-rah'ing the fans after games. It has to do with him putting a quality product on the field.
When your team is horrible, like it was for so long with Georgia, there isn't much to do at games but to talk to other fans.

He deserves any and all hate directed his way. There is zero excuse for a leader of men and high profile figure of the university to behave that way.
First off I dont think he acted that much like a jackass. He could have chewed her out for making him wait, avoided her entirely or a number of other things that would have been way more offensive... he waited and gave a few abrupt and yes in the context pretty rude hook ems then ran to his team.
Also...again.. I dont think Rowe or Sark were the actual problem here.... the bullshite expectation is. This man just lead his team to a massive almost totally improbable come back at home vs the #1 team in the country. His team and staff are celebrating and we expect this guy whos adrenaline is full tilt to stop, come down and answer the same canned bullshite questions he answers after every fricking win... for what...also factor in they almost made him late for his actual job...coaching his team at halftime earlier.
Is abruptly saying hook em a few times really the worse in that scenario... again....It was fricking rude given the context and expecation...but its the expectation that needs to change
