The computers love ND blowing out USC & NC St. Both of those teams are ranked in the Top 25. FPI has NCSt ranked in the top 20, probably why ND jumped Georgia in that formula.
Margin of victory factors heavily into these rankings. This isn't the old BCS formula where they had to remove the scores. Those formulas were neutered.
Now computers love it when a team beats a good team by a big margin. They don't like squeaking by average teams, and they hate it when a Top 25 team loses to a low ranked team. That Troy loss is starting to hurt everybody's SOS in the SEC.
The good news is that Georgia has several games against teams ranked high.
USCe Top 40
Auburn Top 10
GT Top 25
