BOOM BABY Alabama has 5 of the top 13 recruits in the state, Auburn has 5 of the top 13 recruits in the state, the others or undecided or headed elsewhere

I can't really comment at this moment; I'm still in shock of the mental carnage WhoLeoJones imprinted on me with that epic BOOM earlier.
Alright, I'm over it. I think our staff was hired to generate an overall improvement in coaching, but they also have a distinct recruiting background and I think that is reflecting in our heavy improvement in recruiting and the end of last year and this year. Malzahn, Luper, and Taylor are all very good on the recruiting trail with offensive players, and I can't help but think that Rocker would be able to sway some good defensive guys.

Yeah.... "boom" baby.
I can't believe Sanders decommitted. What a fricking pussy.
"I might not be able to crack the 2 deep at Alabama.... so I'll go play for a 2nd-rate Auburn team."
Craig Sanders is not the player I thought he was.
Enjoy mediocrity, douchebag.

How's that list coming? You planning on submitting it to the admins here after it gets long enough?
You really are a dumbass that takes this shite a little too seriously. I guess I gave you to much credit I guess. Not sure why you continue to hijack every thread that you see me in but

The state is way down this year and AU will once again finish about 6th in the SEC. Basically things are just like when CTT was there minus the mini streak.

Enjoy him Jhag. He's the guy that "quit".
You mother f'ckers get the guys we don't want (Owens).... or the guys that quit (Sanders).
How do think that will shake out over the next two years?
Think you'll beat Alabama this year or the next? I don't.

I wasn't aware that Alabama lost Sims, Milliner, or Hill to Auburn...

FWIW, I don't usually have e-problems with anyone until they prove themselves completely inept at rational conversation (i.e. you)

You put way to much stock into where a kid wants to attend a college. frick Sanders? Really?
Stay classy man. You may dislike the guy and question his motives for not attending Alabama; but I wouldn't take it as far as you are.

Explain how you are doing any better than CTT other than his last full year?

Well, after Tuberville left, our already puny recruiting class completely fell apart as highly touted recruits such as Cotton jumped ship and our class was in shambles outside of some people like Lutzenkirchen who stayed committed to Auburn.
In short, Chizik came to Auburn with the tasks of completing a recruiting class in about 1/3 of the normal time and build a coaching staff all the while connecting with his new team. We scrapped together a top 15 recruiting class that year, which is almost comparable to Saban's first ever class at Alabama when he faced similiar issues.
Now in his first full recruiting class, I believe we are off to a decent start with several high profile recruits still placing Auburn in high regards. We are also faring far better in state than in years past. If you want to place this on Saban not recruiting the state very hard that's all fine and good, but I'm giving credit to Chizik and company. We'll see where the pieces fall, but from what I am hearing I am cautiously optimistic about where this class ends up.
