Putting money aside, Sam has nothing to gain by coming back.
KJ is gone, Rocket is gone, losing some players on the OL, losing some WRs, losing many players on the defensive line, losing some linebackers and some DBs.
Unless he absolutely kills it in the portal, next year is looking at being a bad year.
