We don't have polar bears in this part of the state, but black and brown bears are as common as people, just don't congregate as much. They walk the streets like stray dogs do in the lower 48. I have a terrible problem with black bears on my deck.

Nah, you get accustomed to them and their habits. I routinely get within 10-15 feet from them. You know when to keep your distance. I photograph them quite often when I am hiking.

Beautiful animals. You are a lucky man to see them daily.

WTF!!
I mean seriously you have bears on your deck!
I have genuine envy dude!
Are they the only creatures or do you have other (classified as) wild animals that roam - what is the town accepted behavior with regards to scaring/shooting/avoiding them? (and is there a law that enforces that)

Yeah, couple fridays ago one of the f'kers got my bearproof trash can off the deck and was having a feast on the ground when I got home. Trash all over my wife's car. Thought he ran away when I drove up but I walked up the steps an turned on the outside light, and he was still there. I has walked within 5 feet of that sucker still feasting on the trash.

Snow is coming down the mountains, they will be gone by the end of the month. It's pretty awesome to see them so wild and ...well, everywhere. I have a salmon stream about 100 feet from the house so it draws them to the property quite often.

You know what -frick You!
You are exceeding the limits of common decency expected from a man, when chatting with folks stuck in a concrete jungle.

This probably sounds stupid to some and hard to understand for others, but I wish Tennessee could get things turned around to the point they are respectable again. I really miss the arrogant UT fans I grew up hating. Please come back.

Just listen to find Finebaum, you will get plenty of arrogance from Bama fans and AU fans...and then you can hate on both of them....even as a BAMA fan one would think you would be put off by the mentality of your fan base.
It has to be an act, no human race or group of people is that full of themselves

Anybody have a video of the play where Montgomery was injured that they can post? If already posted, sorry. Don't feel like reading 9 pages of posts. Thanks.
