Dipshit OP, you left off A&M @#6
A&M is 13th... Dipshit
13 Texas A = 86.75
Easy mistake to make. I get those SWC teams mixed up too.

Don't act like you know what you're talking about.
The Elo_Chess is the ranking that counts, and A&M is 13th.

The fact that Sagarin has Arizona, Washington and USC - all four-loss teams - in the Elo-Chess top 20 tells me all I need to know about the accuracy of his formula.
That the BCS still uses Sagarin is more evidence that they are no better at determining the relative strengths and weaknesses of college football teams than any random group of semi-knowledgable fans.

Sagarin admits the Elo_Chess is inaccurate. It's not his fault the BCS doesn't allow for MOV to be factored in.

My problem with Sagarin has always been that his pre-season rankings seem to carry more weight than they should.
For example, I can't imagine how anyone could watch AU's season unfold and still consider them the 81st best team in Division 1.

How is A&M ranked so low? That is obnoxious. We need Florida and South Carolina to win and win convincingly.

His pre-season rankings don't hold any weight lol. What are you talking about?

1. Notre Dame (95.49)
2. Florida (94.62)
3. Alabama (91.77)
4. Stanford (91.72)
t5. Oregon (91.55)
t5. Georgia (91.55)
Why did you post the ones that Sagarin himself says are only half good? The only one of Sagarin's rankings that should ever be looked at by anybody is the pure points ranking. Unfortunately the BCS is really stupid in that respect.
