There's been chatter about Alabama offensive coordinator reuniting with Orgeron, his former coworker at USC and Tennessee, in the same role with the Tigers.

"I know nothing about it, first of all, so I don't think I should comment," Alabama coach Nick Saban said Sunday evening. "I don't think I should comment on things I don't know anything about. He's never mentioned it to me and I'm sure he would if there was something out there."

"Lane has done a good job for us," Saban said. "I'm pleased with what he's done. I think our staff does a really good job of making halftime adjustments and I certainly think we've done that this year."

No, that's for when Lane gets a HC job. Not for when he takes the same position for a division rival under an infinitely inferior HC that used to be one of his own subordinates.

I can't even believe this is a thing, that you people think will happen. Like one crazy delusion doesn't work out so you just move on to another one

Saban treats him like a kid and embarrasses him on national tv. The guy was a head coach at Oakland, USC and tenners. I could see him giving Saban a big frick you and not think twice about it

Professionally, I don't think it would be a smart decision for Kiffin to leave Alabama for another school in the SEC (especially LSU, because he'd have to go against Saban's defense every year) but maybe that's just me. I still would not be shocked if he did leave, though.

Millenials are such pansies. An assistant football coach got yelled at by the head coach! The horror!

If he takes an OC position elsewhere it's because his contract isn't being renewed and he didn't land a HC gig at a decent school.

In other words, basically being processed.

Surprised Saban would come out like this, he's from the no comment Belichick mold.

And Saban has been shown hollering at Kiffin like twice.

But somehow it's become that Saban spends all game, every game sputtering and spitting on Lane Kiffin's soul.

If Kiffin ever gets a HC gig again, and he will, he should drop to his knees and praise Saban. Kiffin next job will be as a HC.

from an outsider, it seems that Lane has done a great job at bama, i mean he's widely considered now one of if not the best OC in the country.
Saban won't even add a "really" in front of the good comment. Is that just Saban speak or is he really just minimally approving of the job Lane's done?

We already shown that we're stupid enough to hire Orgeron, so I fully expect us to go after the OC that Saban has been practicing against the last three years.
