I hear what you're saying. I think the Tubbs situation is a little different in that with Saban's arrival, folks panicked and bought into the hype that Tubby had nowhere to go but down. With his.. dare I say.. laziness in recruiting, that became a self-fulfilling reality.

I don't think we will have to worry about any of those schools. USC tried to hire coach Bryant for years and he always turned them down. John Wayne and Johnny Mac Brown wanted coach Bryant to come to Hollywood and coach USC and act, he politely said no but he and the Duke were tight. Duke was going to play Bryant in the move, "The Bear" but he died before they made it.

you aren' t really assuming Saban wount go to USC based on something Bear Bryant did, are you?

Let's say he does it this year at BAMA and wins the NC.

Not so fast, my friend! Let's just take one thing at a time.

If Saban was in his early 40s and not pushing 60 I might be worried about him leaving. I just think Bama caught the right guy at the right time and he will retire there. Perhaps at the end of his 2017 contract extension. He has built the program there and can continue to win there.

Stoops is going to take that job and he will do pretty well there. He has been in Norman for 10 years and it is the right time now.

a fan base can "demand excellence," all they want. whether it happens or not, is another story. your demands didn't mean much over the last ten years. you were fortunate to get Saban, as was LSU.

but not even Saban can meet the expectations of the bama fans. it is like betting the field, the odds always favor the field.

all this love for Saban will dry up if he loses to Florida and then drops the sugar bowl, which is funny, because he is probably the best coach in the game today. it takes more than a great coach. it takes luck. and luck will always get spread around the conference.

Do you see where the reference DELUSIONAL FANBASE
comes from? You guys are so full of Saban to a pathetic state. You will not win the National Championship this year. I do think he will stay at bama for awile longer.

I think Saban will be at Bama longer than he was at any other school.

Part of it is trying to lose the imagine of job-hopping/shopping. Part of is it is being true to his word..for a change. At LSU and Miami (Mich St?), he stated many times he was not leaving only to hit the doors.

Eventually, the lure of Pro Football will get to Saban again. If you believe Saban is a perfectionist and demands excellence, then you can easily see why he will eventually turn to Pro Football.

Saban pretty much had all he asked for in Miami and it took only 1-1/2 seasons for him to run away. He sees his coaching circle doing well in the NFL and you just know he is wondering why they "have it" and he could not figure it out.

After year five or so, pro football will start to pull at Saban. Maybe after six or seven years, tops. It will be one helluva run but it will end eventually. God help the coach after Saban. Careful of what you create.

nah. I think Saban is one of the few coaches that can truly appreciate our delusion and our demand for excellance. I think he stays until he's no longer coaching.

Saban is not going anywhere especially when he can look across the field once a year and knowing he can do things at will to Leslie Miles.

I don't see Saban coaching at 70. Alabama is his final stop IMO.

I don't see leaving to go to any SEC school- Be concerned about others schools, ND, Mich, and if Pete C. ever left USC he would make that trip

I could see him making the move to USC.

He is not going out there with all of those fruits. But, since his movie roll he may think about a career in acting and take the USC job as a booster into the celebrity world. Sandra bullock thought he was good looking!!

You never know.

And what would that be? Something similar to what stoops up until 2 years has been doing to mac?

Saban could dominate at Georgia, I think.

Let's say he does it this year at BAMA and wins the NC. That would make him the only coach to win the NC at two different schools.

He is very close friends with vince and Barbara Dooley and they have homes next door to each other at the lake in georgia.

Does he leave Alabama and go to Georgia to turn them around and retire after he wins his third NC at a third school?

Just a thought and I am being serious

This question is filled with too much discursiveness. It's a conclusion deduced by surmise or guesswork, just because it is about Saban and he is (bama jams) H.C.
