LSU has a nice library also.

Every time I call to check on my son, he says he is in the Library. I am beginning to think it is a bar!!!

nah. I think Saban is one of the few coaches that can truly appreciate our delusion and our demand for excellance. I think he stays until he's no longer coaching.

Delusional! Saban will always follow the money only to be outdone by his ego

I don't see leaving to go to any SEC school- Be concerned about others schools, ND, Mich, and if Pete C. ever left USC he would make that trip

He still will give the NFL another try if the NE Patriots job opens

He has found the money! I am not sure he would be a good fit at UGA. They are pretty apathetic.

Have you ever been in that library? If not, you need to go spend some time there the next time you go visit him. That freakin library is about 4 floors. It is a great library. I seriously spent almost an entire day in that thing.

I also like the neighborhood that has the streets named after the football teams. I can't remember what it is called but it is right there beside the campus. Very nice!!

The Miles quote on the Tiger rant was hilarious.

That's the Forrest Gump Memorial Library. Forrest used to hang out there when he wasn't sitting on the bus stop bench.

I don't think we will have to worry about any of those schools. USC tried to hire coach Bryant for years and he always turned them down. John Wayne and Johnny Mac Brown wanted coach Bryant to come to Hollywood and coach USC and act, he politely said no but he and the Duke were tight. Duke was going to play Bryant in the move, "The Bear" but he died before they made it.

John Wayne would have played one hell of a Bear Bryant.

Seriously. I have got to believe those coaches in the big programs are under an incredible amount of stress. How long to you think they can stay when people are expecting and demanding undeafeated seasons and NC's every year. Money is good but your own health has to begin to suffer. Do you think the days of 8, 10, 15 year tenures are a thing of the past?

So, you reckon Miles is about done at Lsu then? In case you haven't noticed, the success Saban helped to foster at Lsu and that Miles has continued has made a large, young part of your base have those expectations.

UGA is many things, apathetic is not one of them.

I have noticed and I realize those expectations are unreal but I also feel the same expectations will be at Bama, Florida, and several other places.

Bama will always have those expectations. To a degree, I believe that is why we have sustained success over the years, with the exception of this past decade at times. When you demand excellance, you'll foster excellance. The trick is to balance it with an overzealous fanbase.

I agree with you completely. I have no contact with any coach. My question is how hard will it be to stay in one place very long if you do not produce these unrealistic expectations. Look at Tubs, perfect season to gone a few years later.
