The boogs have a big game with Jawja tommorrow and Saban's the topic of conversation. U wont see many AU logo's under topic started by, after the throttle down in Athens town, unless it has something to do with daddy Saban or big brotha. You can now throw away that sticky picture of Allaman out from under your matress. Its officially Georgian's, err I mean German's.

Now, that is really something to think about. Who wins the division? Who goes to the SEC Champ Game? What does the BCS do?

I agree. It was poorly coached by the Alabama staff. And the LSU staff did what they needed to do.

This is funny. The NFL guys hate their system for OT and hate the coins toss deciding the out come. Just go back the playoff game between NO and Minn on. The Saints SB run. No wonder Saban could not make it in the NFL, he does not understand the rules used in the NFL......

None of the systems are perfect but I would take the current NCAA system over the NFL any day. At least both teams get a shot at trying to score...

The rules shouldn't apply to nick Saban when his team loses

He's cool with OT as long as he wins

Sabans quote above.... LOL... I am pretty sure there was more than one mistake made that cost the game.... and I can think of several that were direct results of the decisions made by the coach!!! One would think he would have a better perception of himself, saying things like this just makes him look so petty, like such a sore loser.... Dam, Man up dude!

I'm still trying to figure out how one reaches the conclusion that the game would have ended in a tie with an NFL type overtime.

Straight up loser talk. Houston Nutt must have rubbed off on him.

Disappointing because I used to respect nick a lot as a coach

It's not like he said they are undefeated in regulation.

Yeah the college OT system is perfect the way it is. Don't know y anyone would want to change it especially to the NFL's cause it sucks

I like college OT as it is. IF, there were any changes to be done, it should be teams should have to go for 2 after the first OT, or maybe in the first OT so that player aren't out there for 4, 5 or 6 OT's, like occasionally happen.

Saban had a chance to play with those overtime rules.

How did that work out for him?

No, but the "one mistake won't lose you a game" talk is for losers. When you play elite teams, one mistake CAN lose the game.

This is another reason to dislike Saban. He got outcoached flat and simple. The choice to pick an endzone over having the ball last was boneheaded. That is elementary knowledge he who scores last wins the game in OT.

Saban loves the NFL rules so much, he should go back seeing how well that went the first time around.
