It's much more important than Tennessee. That game is useless for Bama because of Tennessee's irrelevance.

All rivalries start somewhere, then die off if they become irrelevant over time. Since 2007 LSU and alabama has had a pretty intense rivalry. If it continues, which it looks like it will, it will eventually become one of the biggest in the SEC.

You're just our Florida right now. We never have thought of you as a big rival. It's as if Ole Miss suddenly became elite at the same time we were, and we had their old coach. Truly no different than that
