that's the thing... it's still very early. Woodson seems to like AU, and Bama already has a WR committed and signed a few for 2010 (although Woodson's position isn't set in stone). Rose has yet to be offered by Auburn, and Landrum will be a battle.

Nothing that I've seen yet suggests any of these guys are "locks" one way or the other./;o9

Yep he does...See Drew Brees !!!

The Dolphin physicians refused to clear him due to the shoulder issue...not Saban's decision and quite possibly one of the reasons Saban left Miami for Bama. He didn't have total control.

But I'll give you credit for the try, though.

While the doctor thing may be true about Brees,Saban did have full control of personnel. He left because he knew that he's a better college coach and he couldn't cut it the NFL level. Not a knock,a lot of coaches are just better prepared and more suitable for college.Saban happens to be one of them.In college he gets to teach and has a chance with every kid he wants. In the NFL the guys fell that they don't need a teacher and he can only get who falls to him.Pete Carroll will find this out soon enough.

and if auburn offers Rose, he's ours....
See how easy that was?

And unless he comes out this year and tears it up, you can certainly have him, IMHO. I've watched him for two years and don't know why Saban offered. So far, he's looked like South Alabama material to me...at best.

I may be scratching my head, but I'm trusting Saban on the offer, he knows what he's doing.

Saban was not a good fight in the pro game because they players really allow you to coach them at the end of the day. They choose you, not the other way around. In the college game players do pick a place to go/coach to play for but once they get to school they are no longer in charge of anything, especially with Saban. Saban's personality does not fit to the pro mentality.
