Let's talk about character and morals.
Leslie pulled Benton's scholarship and told him to GTFO. This kid had been working for 2 years to get into LSU and Miles dropped him for the new kid.

that was more than an internet rumor. i was fairly well connected when i lived in baton rouge, the wealthy and highly intelligent always tend to be, and the candy rumors were extremely widespread. they may have been false, but i seriously doubt it.

Saban is the best at lying. He out lied Meyer this year and Meyer is steamed. We have a great class, move on.

You're bringing up that Saban pulled Benton's scollie? After two years and he still isn't qualified and we don't know for sure that he will be?
Ironic. You'll really be upset when Saban gets rid of 15 or so of his own players this year through "attrition" to make room for the new guys. He did that last year, too. I don't remember any Bama fans having much pity.

By the way, what happened with Gerald West a week before signing day? Did Saban tell him to hit the road because of academics? Or, did he bail on his commitment, which also makes what Saban said in the original quote a bit spurious?

Alatiger, there's an old saying people who live in glass houses, shouldn't walk around naked. Especially if they are fat and ugly.
Les straight up lied to Benton and Randle and then pulled Benton's offer after Benton had worked really hard to get in to his dream school LSU. Then Miles straight up lies to the media and says he didn't pull the offer. Come on bud, as lies go Les really screwed the pooch on this one. Far worse than anything Saban has done this year.
