Certainly the best team of the last decade, at least record wise. But let's keep it real. Once LSU was up two scores in the first quarter bama NEVER had a single possession the rest of the game where they had a chance to tie or take the lead.

LSU's record says BEST season EVER in the HISTORY of college football. You are right, not the same Clemson team bama faced. The '19 edition was way more experienced and considered a better team by most football pundits. They returned something like 15 or so starters. Same QB, same RB, same WRs, same OL and same DBs.

There bama fans go with that injury excuse. Why is it for years when ANY bama opponent mentioned anything about injuries after a loss to the tide, the great tide nation ALL said man up and accept the loss. bama fans said they would NEVER use that as an excuse or claim a moral victory. You know like only losing by five to CFP national champion.
