Tiger Rant has a classic thread of lsu fans breaking down what the team needs to do in order to win. It is comedy gold IMO.

Bama will win. No need for LSU to show up now.

"We may not win every game we play at Alabama; nobody ever said we would," Saban said in a brief press conference prior to speaking at a meeting of the Cellular South 1st and 10 Club at Heron Lakes Country Club. "But we've probably already won a helluva lot more than anybody thought we would already, and we're going to focus on what we need to do to get better as a team, and come out with guns a blazin' and be positive about the last four games that we have this year and do the best we can as a team. And we'll see if we're good enough or not."

"I told the guys after practice today, 'Look guys, you've done a nice job, you've worked hard, you've made some improvements as a team,'" Saban said. "We appreciate the effort. Now get some time off and get rested a little bit.

"But what do you want to accomplish? And what do you want to do? I mean, we want to come back and play our best football when we come back off this break."

Saban said he isn't concerned about the close call against Tennessee last weekend or the way his offense has sputtered in recent games, preferring instead to look at the positives of the 12-10 win over the Volunteers that Terrence Cody saved by blocking a last-second field goal.

"We gave them an opportunity to kick a field goal," Saban said. "But they didn't make the field goal, we blocked it. And our players made the play in the game to win the game and, you know, it's a little bit disconcerting to me that we've won 20 out of our last 22 games and people ask me questions like you're asking, like it's going to be the end of the world."
You and about the other 99.99% of the gump nation must of got a hard on after listening/reading the "Saban Brief".

Definitely sounds like he's preparing his speech after they lose next weekend. He's a smart guy. He knows.

Something tells me Saban wants those championships too.

Saban isn't good enough to win them every year. So far, he hasn't proved good enough to win a second one.

Leslie says this is his best o-line at LSU, so one of you two is full of shite. Which one is it?

Honestly? Les if full of shite on this and every LSU fans knows it. This is the worst LSU O-line in in several years. In fact probably the worst this decade.

These Saban sermons will be scrutinized a lot more after Bama completes its customary choke job this season. Bama fans will begin to see a trend the rest of us are already privy to.

Sounds like $abun can feel the noose of the gump fan base tightening in anticipation of a loss (if it should occur) If he beats LSU (I think he will although i hope not) and runs the table and loses to either FLA or NC he will be made miserable by his own fans. If he were to win a NC this year I see him leaving when Joe Pa Dies/retires. First Coach to ever win 3 at 3 different schools ...instead of always being second fiddle to Bear.

You're right. Saban is a horrible coach. A complete failure. I wish we would just fire him and shut our program down.

Well, his past indicates success at LSU so can't call him a complete failure. Or maybe it's not him that's the failure.

Doesn't he have a huge buyout?

You're right. Alabama is horrible. Worst team in college football. And not sure about Saban's buyout...but whatever we have to pay to get rid of him we should pay it. The sooner we fire his dumbass the sooner we can close down the football team. We are horrible. I apologize that Alabama even has the balls to dare play LSU or any football team. I'm sorry guys.
