Was rain a good excuse for UGA struggling against Bama or Auburn losing to LSU in 2013? No. But it's the excuse LSU keeps using for playing a glorified FCS team and struggling for much of the game last night.

Saban wasn't making excuses, just stating facts. LSU fans are using the rain as an excuse for playing like crap until the 4th quarter against WKU.

If I remember correctly, that's just another example of SEC offices bending over for Bama. Saban complained and they were given the opportunity to schedule their bye before LSU every year. LSU had been doing it to Bama and Saban asked for it and got it in response. I highly doubt that they would have accommodated LSU to the same level.

Nick didn't leave us at the alter. He was married to LSU and had a nice run. Won a few games. Won the crystal and kicked that Bama arse along the way.
Better yet he didn't leave us for Bama either. The allure of the NFL caused him to stray away from LSU.
After he didn't cut it in the NFL he couldn't come back to LSU. We had a coach who also won crystal. He chose our pretty cousin in Alabama and he's made history.
I'm pissed for him coming back to SEC but not for leaving us at the alter. That marriage happened
