Actually it does. In 2011& 2012 Bama lost last in the year and at home. You needed OTHER TEAMS TO lose just to get into the BCSCG. This is why I never crow about bcs titles. The only title your team team can control is SEC tiles. You can't get voted into a SECCG.

I fail to see how being lucky Terrance Cody blocked a field goal against Tennessee is any different than being lucky OSU missed a field goal. How is one luck greater or more impressive/impactful than the other?
ETA: Would you say that because of the luck against Tennessee, 2009 Bama was any less deserving? You know, since luck detracts from the deservedness and everything?
