This is a common mistake. The BCS says NOTHING ABOUT BEST TEAMS. NOTHING. It say #1 vs #2. And every year those two teams are chosen by their resume and never has who you lost to , counted more than who you beat. Not once. Look Bama was probably the best team, but that doesn't mean they don't have to actually win the games.

Bama was the better football team. OSU had a better resume, prior to te bowl season. It's a fact. Also I didn't bring this up. A Bama fan said I was butthurt because in the past I posted their resume's.

Both teams will field a damn good team this season, top 5 IMO. Both teams have damn good coaches, and can make a run at another BCSNC title this year. May as well enjoy the ride.

Yep. You're right. It's a fact , we got curb stomped. Doesn't change the fact that , EYEBALL TEST" was used to put Bama in the game. Not to mention the SEC hast ae te SEC in a bowl game in 50 years , but it was Bama's year, so who cares, right?
Some of my life long friends are Bama fans and it's funny that before Nov.5th , everyone of them said it would be dumb for a rematch and it goes against everything CFB is about and on Nov.6th , it was re exact opposite. How good it would be for the conf I have two teams in the bowl game, when on Nov.4th it was a travesty if a rematch was allowed

I didn't know this - I thought a selection committee would choose the top 4 teams that would be in the playoff. I didn't know the teams had to be conference champs to qualify for the playoff. What happens to Notre Dame?

Look Bama proved they belonged and was the best team, BUT prior to the Bowl season ,Bama had done nothing to warrant a shot at the championship. Nothing.

It's not dumb. Listen to what I'm saying.
You have a team who is the best team and their qb gets knocked out of the game and try lose the game by 3 points. They don't lose another game. Now you have two teams that are clearly lesser teams but they haven't lost.
You are saying that BEST TEAM is supposed to go over the undefeated teams? This is the argument I'm talking about. This is the reason the BCS says nothing about Best team. To you get what I'm saying.

Awe now - they had to do something to get ranked high enough to even be considered.
I mean they shite the bed to the tune of actually losing two games last year in the regular season and still ended up in the big game.

Again, perhaps you're right. Based on what we saw on 1/9/2012, LSU wasn't even a top ten team...much less not one of the two best teams.
