Until the season gets underway and we have other stuff to argue about.

What is the big deal here

I took it as a compliment, no big deal at all but were still 13 days away form a game that matters so something has to occupy the time

I think all LSU fans living in reality know it was a mistake for him to leave the college game, most peeps felt that way Christmas Day 04

it was destiny that saban left LSU. that way he could fail with the dolphins and get to bama. it was all in lord saban's plan.

I do know the Skip told NS before he left that he could be LSU's "Bear Bryant" if he stayed...maybe Skip is the one to blame

I do think it's funny that you edited the quote to leave out the words, "and not just because its LSU", and then question anyone else's comprehension skills.

I agree. I don't think he gives a rat's behind about LSU.He found out the hard way he's more suited for college football than the NFL.All it means is he won't leave Alabama for the NFL, just another college team.

He looks miserable every time I see him. But no matter how far and how fast you run, there you are. Can't get away from yourself.

Well, that's just sort of how the poor bastard looks all the time. Remember the pictures of him after the Oklahoma game holding the crystal? He looked like a guy needing to go to the can who finally got to the exit after the 'next exit 14 miles sign'.

Still, even for him,he never looks happy. I'll never forget the reporter here who had to ask him twice to say 'roll tide' the day he was hired at Alabama. And,he said it with zero conviction.

It's really hard to have penis envy for someone who has a much smaller metaphorical thing to be envied, but leave it to LSU fans to master the art.

In football,

LSU > Alabama.

Quit being bitter about the breakup.

Of course. Its the gayest, stupid thing any self-respecting "journalist" would ask of someone on the day they're hired. He isn't hired to be the head of the pep club, he's the football coach. He's not an alum, so why would he have strong enough feelings to belt out a Roll Tide that would make John Forney weep?
Stupid shite like that makes me hate friggin' reporters. We didn't hire him to wear a Crimson blazer and lead the classless Yellowhammer cheer. We hired him to make the losers who do that have a reason to do it....winning football games.

Keep in mind he had just been molested by Collette Connell at the airport. LINK

And yes, it is a pretty stupid thing for a reporter to ask.

How can I forget that? It was seared into my mind.

I was just picking at my daughter yesterday for looking like Collette. She had a Bama t-shirt on and her hair was a blond, curly mess....I showed her a vid of the kiss and a pic of Collette and she punched me in the arm...

What day did Tubs say this?

Did my original post on this actually gain steam in Bama circles or was this from another source?

Tubbs said that in an interview from the same guy that wrote the dinky interview referenced here. Tubs said something to the affect of "Saban will probably be in Washington next year" when he was being asked about his relationship with dinky.

I believe Tubby's comments were referenced on this board earlier. The thread title was something like "Tubby must read this board too" or something like that.

Anyway, the same guy who did this interview with Saban did one earlier with Tubby.

It sounds to me like he really is miserable at Bammer, also he looks like a raggedy man, oh well he has to sleep in the bed he made. I think it will be bad for him if they look bad and lose to Clemson

Bama might as well get used to 8-4, 7-5 seasons until Saban leaves for another job.

In 4 years Saban only had ONE season with fewer than 2 losses.

In 3 years, Miles has never had a season with more than 2 losses.

We are better off. Why is everyone so butt hurt a coach who lost to UAB at HOME and almost lost to Troy at HOME left??
