Does Bama win in 2009 without Ingram ? How about without AJ during his years ? You do not win with an average QB, bama found that out in 2016 and almost in 2017.

The media gave up on showing all the Bama cheating and Saban's double talk for special rules he needs like they did during the first half of his career at Bama. Now it's just like oh well Bama caught paying another player or pass through another loophole to make the playoffs.

The Playoff Committee didn't miss all the non-calls that went Aubie's way. The all-22 footage made it crystal clear that the officiating gave Barn U. a clear advantage. In a properly officiated game I doubt Barn U. scores more than 6 points. The Committee felt the same. And deep down Gus feels the same. You can see the fear in his eyes since that day.

In 2009 they had Trent and upchurch behind him. So it’s possible. Losing one player doesn’t affect bama so much as losing multiple players especially in one position does. AJ was no once in a generation type qb. He is a good qb but wouldn’t say an all time great. Also bama won with Coker and McElroy so they can win with an average qb

I didn't say he was, but they wouldn't have won it without him. McElroy and Bama won after McCoy was injured, even then it was a close game.

Why do you care what anyone on here thinks ? I like fricking with Bama fans because they will go out of their way to try and tell you how great they are (See Tuscaloosa's post). If you try to counter their argument, there will be 5-10 other Bammers trying to argue with you. Maybe it is because they live thru their team, but I have not found an element of society that has to receive constant praise for the achievements of others more than the Alabama Fan. They are like the girl from HS who was the Beauty Queen, but 20 years later they had 3 kids and got fat. At the reunion they have to remind everyone who they were and what they use to look like.
