Probably won't be quite that high. 1400 seems about right. But if he comes back for his senior year (doubtful) he will almost definitely end up top 5 all time, maybe even top 3. Then again LF could very well do that in 3 years. Crazy to think we have 3 potential top 10 rushers right now in the SEC

I would sit back with much to watch the posts if he passes somebody like Emmitt Smith. The love you guys and Fla have for each other would make for entertaining reading to be sure if that happens

Fournette will get his before week 3, probably get the 850 yds on 40 or so totes. Quite simply the GOAT.

No way Hurd gets 1600+ yards next season with Dobbs and Kamara also getting a big chunk of the carries. He should become Tennessee's all-time leading rusher next year tho

look you guys beat Bama and all but don't start pretending your defense is allll that out of nowhere

Who cares about Bama? We've also shut down TAMU twice, we shut down LSU offensively (they beat us in 2014, but that was not because of their offensive attack), Auburn and others.

It's going to be an uphill climb for Hurd to reach that target number while splitting carries with Kamara.

Would love to see it happen though. Also, I think there's less than a 10% chance he comes back after his Junior year. Hope he proves me wrong

This. These are not only the best 1-2 punch in the SEC but watching with my own eyes Hurd was the best back we faced.
Kamara got behind his shoulders in that 4th qtr and laid some good licks on our LB's. Either would be a featured back if they weren't at the same school. Very physical game.

inb4fournette>31 yds

People tend to forget that Fournette had a nice game against 'Bama as a freshman. Obviously he was a better player last season but 'Bama executed a fabulous defensive game plan to perfection. It would be intellectually dishonest, in my view, to think that Fournette and Henry's numbers would not have been virtually reversed were they on opposite sides. That was one of the best OL/DL combo performances I've ever witnessed and hat's off to the Tide. However, It's pretty doubtful that happens again.

Gotta figure Whaley might have an all SECfr type year due to workload volume.

Also hope RW comes back strong and healthy after getting Auburned.
