Nike money only goes so far. Like their football program, Nike pumps money to their track program but Oregon still lacks the history and success that Arkansas and LSU and (even ATM has recently been extremely successful) have had. I spoke with a decathlete here at Arkansas who was from Oregon that came to run track here. I asked him why when he was so close to the Ducks and he said he wanted to win championships and the SEC knows how to win.

Yeah we hosted the Indoor Championships for 9 straight years before A&M hosted in '09 because everyone's facilities were terrible.
