Lol, UF sidewalk fans from Tennessee are my favorite and they're usually the trashiest of all.

It wouldn't involve baking soda, would it? If so, we're competitors.

You're not a very smart man, are you? Because I get the feeling that you're not a clever person.

I was gonna have a witty retort, but you're actually correct. Unless you count an associates degree. I dropped out to start my own business.

Didn't you attend UT though? Depending on what year you dropped out (how many hours you have), you are an alumnus by rulez. The hour qualifications for UT to consider you an alum are lower than you might think because it taken into account transfers and others who may not be there for 4 years.

Yes, for 1 year. I actually left UT to attend Pellissippi State for financial reasons, I was gonna go back to UT, but I ended up leaving school altogether. I may go back one day.

Did you do at least 12 hours each semester?

I'll bet he never even met anyone from the Neyland family.

Johnny Majors doesn't recognize him if they see each other on the street.

I'll guarantee he doesn't even know Phillip Fulmer's shoe size.

Typical sidewalker.

If you can get to at least 24 semester hours then the Alumni Association will consider you an alumnus. Consider taking correspondence courses to get there. They still count towards that 24 and then you can join the Alumni Association. You might not be a degreed at UT alum but that doesn't matter - you'll still get the Alumni Association benefits (and probably the fundraising letters too ).

And no you're not a dirty sidewalker as you have a connection to the university, were taught at the university and had to leave due to finances. That's not your fault and it happens to a lot of people.

Go back when you can and get that degree - you'll love it and if you're like me it meant the world. People around here talk so much about how many generations attended their school and it blows my mind. I was the first in my immediate family to graduate college and I'm proud as hell about that.
