This article states that Lane's buyout is only 5 million. If so then he is the Man. The Barn can pay that 5 for him and give him 5.5 (one million a year raise from ole miss) and still save 1.5 million a year from Gus's salary.

Please let this happen my body is ready....Lane will force the last evolution of Saban. Auburn and Alabama will be 60 point games, co-eds will leak "evidence" prior Iron bowl. Saban will be constantly asked about a Kiffin tweet.

Did you photoshop that? I found what looks to be the exact same pic on google, you just rotated it and cropped it
Edit: just noticed the same green shirt guy. It is photoshopped 100%

Kiff about to parlay 4-5 or 5-4 into a raise.
He isn't going anywhere. Recruiting in AU vs Saban, Kirby and even Dabo's reach is not appealing. Add in that AU has much higher expectations than Ole Miss, and he will wait to improve his stock and move to a major program with built in advantages in recruiting and competition.

Last time he left an SEC school after one year to pursue another job, he had to be an assistant for 3 years after losing the USC job before even a small program gave him another shot at a HC gig. I seriously don't think Kiffin is going to pull a stunt like that again after he finally got a HC job at a P5 school again after all these years. I think he'll stay at Ole Miss for at least another few years. Tuberville was at least at Ole Miss for a few years before moving on to Auburn and hadn't had the stigma of using P5 jobs as one stop gaps, this isn't the same scenario.
