If PP7 comes back, LSU beats Bama twice. Mark Barron came back for Bama, and we neede PP7 to come back to offset that.

If Ron Cooper is better than Sabam, why did Landon C sign with Saban?

Look at the last 5 games between Bama & LSU and the Tide leads 3-2 with a win in the BCSNCG. That trumps your predictions for the future.

Well, if we are going back 5 games, why not 6? that would make them 3-3 and ole Miles won a natty that year too

Really??? Seems to me it proved who the better team was all along. If there had been a playoff, we still would have been there.

Hard stats, fool. What else are supposed to go by?

Eta: it's a wash IMO, but if I had to choose I would take cooper. He churned out really good DBs during his time at USCw too. Joseph and Munerlyn come to mind.

And Saban churned out some good DBs at LSU...

Don't know. Could be the sophomore slump that a lot of great players go through. Ask Tebow, Bradford, Ingram, and a lot of other guys that have help up a Heisman. (Seeing as we're talking about trophies as well.) As it could be that last season opponents threw the ball 33 more than this season. I mean you asked for something to base the argument on and you got it. Now you don't like the out come so you asked a question that the answer is "it happens to players all the time." I know this much I wouldn't trade any of Alabama DBs for any of LSU's. Cause last time I checked Alabama this past season had one of the best defense's to ever step on a field. So you can have your DB coach who likes to utilize guys that are smaller than me and named after a cute woodland creature that is most likely going to be seen in the next Disney film and give up big passing yards to Big East teams. I'll stick with the one that has multiple NT.

Also Saban= Head Coach > Cooper= positions coach.

Now tell me who's going to have more hands on time with his players?
