If Saban retired today, I'd hire Clark over Pruitt in a heartbeat without thinking twice about it.

I think Pruitt would be a GREAT hire for MSU and I don't want them to make it 
Guy can recruit his dick off and is a fantastic defensive coordinator.
He definitely needs a pushover for an AD though, because he's going to come in HOT with demands. He's kind of a son of a bitch, but so is Saban, and when Saban gets what he wants, he wins a frickton of football games.

Well given Pruitt's past history, the Mississippi State campus is probably the safest place for him.

Just looking at videos of Pruitt and hearing him talk he sounds like a good ole boy hard nosed old school type of coach that players love to play for.
