He's pretty much fired, but not yet

Board has to fire him and they don't meet until the 18th

They are both fired. Pitino's contract states: If the University of Louisville wants to fire men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino, it must first give Pitino at least 10 days’ written notice of the its reasons for doing so and an opportunity for Pitino to “present evidence

They're both on administrative leave Pitino can't be fired unless he's given 10 days notice and Jurich gets 30 days notice.

Guys. It's spelled PITino. PETino makes it look like you misspelled PETRINO.

Anyone else think this is an awfully specific and convenient clause to have in a contract? Its almost as if he knew ahead of time that he would be fired eventually for cheating. I think its fair to extrapolate that Pitino, with malice of forethought, went into the job fully intent upon cheating.
