four yards and a tipped ball away from winning the football game

That's still a loss, not a win. The question was about coming up short in big games, that's the definition of once again coming up short. I dont see what's so wrong with it, it HAS been brought up many times before. Richt/Murray have 1 win over a ranked team in their 3 years together, something isnt right.

Thank you. What do y'all want? Reporters to hold Richt's hand and make him feel better? It's SEC football. Grow a pair.

Exactly how I feel about it. It is a legitimate question but should have been brought up next week sometime. There was no reason to ask it that quickly. Georgia played their asses off. I live in Georgia and generally enjoy listening to Chuck Oliver but he should have waited.

Not a valid or legitimate question. Just another media guy hoping to be part of the story, and it looks as if he was successful. Even if the question had been legitimate, the timing was terrible. Dick move, IMHO.

Richt is very protective of his players when it comes to the media. Murray just got his heart ripped out, going through alot with his family and his dad getting diagnosed with cancer this season, played a great game, and a LOCAL reporter starts trying to rip on him, Richt already not being in a very good mood, held himself together pretty well. Gundy or Saban would have that reporter's career terminated in their respective states. Spur probably would have too.

This reporter tried to use the sleazy "other people say" line to distance himself from his own question, and Richt gave him a chance to say "Yes, coach, your record against top ranked opponents is abysmal, can you comment on that?" but the REPORTER had no balls.... and kept deferring to "other people say" and did it three different times. If the reporter doesn't have the balls to ask what is arguably a valid question, directly, then screw him. Richt handled that situation with class.

I would love to see a local reporter pull that shite on Gundy. I might go snatch that video to show you elfin little pricks what a real press conference meltdown looks like.
