Bama fans beleiving Upshaw and Reubs after these women recant due to the money train showing up

Selling out their human decency to their "Coach Saban" and their tide.

Sad, sad, sad. I heard this will be the new slogan for The REC

"Womens bruises and ruptured eardrums heal, but Championships last forever"

Oh look. The resident Foster hater has finally graced us with his presence.

How long before you wax poetic on why the DA continues to press forward with the case?

Well, we do believe in innocent until proven guilty (which was the mantra of LSU fans when Jefferson kicked a Marine in the face).

Who incriminates themselves like she has for money? She is risking jail time (and, evidently, has a history of false domestic violence allegations dating back to 2011 in Louisiana).

Do I think Reuben is a choir boy? not even close. Do I think he hit this woman 8-10 times in the head? No way.

You honestly believe he hit her at this point?

Im on the fence if you want to be honest

I would like to see the medical notes on her ruptured eardrum, and would like to hear from a doctor on how much force it takes to rupture an eardrum from a punch, and how well a doctor could diagnose when the injury was sustained

I would imagine that is what the DA is weighing his case on

So you're sticking with the ruptured eardrum as evidence stance, huh?

What about the "victim" serving time for falsely accusing her ex-boyfriend of domestic assault in 2011?

You conveniently ignored all mention of that in the thread on the More Sports Board yesterday.

I'm calling your arse out on it here and now.

Perhaps your family members in the Bay area can weigh in on this situation, right?

Or was that all a load of shite?

The DA, who you have put so much faith in, is getting crucified in San Francisco for the way he has handled this case.

Because mouthbreathers buy too much into the headlines of what only one sides attorney brings

The DA has medical notes and police reports. If he feels like those are not sufficient with the recanted testimony he would have dropped the charges. I am not sure what the DA has done wrong here

Now if the judge thinks so she will dismiss the case on May 23. That simple. You can deny it, but you seem emotionally involved here

I notice how you glossed over lying about what I said in the other thread..........

I'm not a doctor, but I've ruptured an eardrum a couple of times; once from a blow to the head and once from faulty in-ear monitors. The hit to the head wasn't even that hard. Perhaps I just have sensitive ears, but my own experience would say that the victim could have received a ruptured eardrum in a fight with another chick. In fact, I think a punch from an NFL linebacker would have left her with a much more significant injury.

The DA didn't even investigate the other altercation even though it was presented to him 2 days after the initial incident.

Plus there's video evidence corroborating her story.

This DA you have so much faith in is a fricking wannabe idiot.

Oh no. Her "statement" was that he hit her 8 to 10 times. Not once.

From what I have read, it takes a significant force from outside to rupture an eardrum

But if something gets inside your ear (que tip, or even infection)it can rupture easily

I would agree if he full force hit her. However, often men in domestic disputes slap women around without full force. Think about it, Tyson and Mayweather have beat women without killing them......
