Most of all what you should take from the Arkansas disaster is do not let your Boosters determine who you hire. After the push from the big money boosters to hire Gus failed Cromer-Peoples, who was dealing with the biggest booster rebellion in the history of Arkansas sports, was more than happy to hire Chad Morris based on Jerry Jones pushing for him.
The good news is she managed to stifle the Great Booster Revolt. The bad news is she steered the football team onto the rocks to do it.

It's what he portrayed himself as. Freeze was part of Ed O's staff at OM. He learned how to recruit from Orgeron. Orgeron understood that usually the Mom made the ultimate decision on where her son was going to play. Freeze used religion to win over Mom and get the recruit to Oxford.
